Consultant - Argentina

LOCATIONS:
The BMC Consultant contributes to technical delivery engagements by implementing the BMC solutions using supplied Solution Documentation, Product Documentation, and tools.  A Consultant conducts appropriate testing, corrects issues encountered utilizing the BMC eco-system (BMC Support, Communities, Services), and documents the results in accordance with agreed procedures. A Consultant assists the Customer in a professional manner following agreed procedures.  If necessary, a Consultant assists Customer in creating solution / project change requests.

A Consultant contributes to the development of installation procedures and standards within BMC.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to strategically solve Customer problems by using various communications, testing, and critical thinking techniques.
  • Owns all assigned areas of the Build phase.
  • Provides leadership, education, and mentoring throughout the validation phase.
  • Successfully moves the Customer into the delivery phase.
  • Successfully completes the transition of the project to closure.

Qualifications / Certifications: 
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (preferred)
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
  • BMC-certified Professional certification
  • BMC Excellence badge

Experience
  • 5(+) relevant years technical IT experience that includes:
    • 3(+) relevant years BMC product line experience or in a competitor product.
    • 3(+) years working in Services projects (preferably Customer facing in a professional consultancy capacity).
  • Proven ability to meet assigned timelines with high quality, complete deliverables in unsupervised, sometimes remote, situations.
  • Proven ability to work within high-pressure teams physically and virtually.
  • Willing shares ideas and knowledge with other colleagues promoting good practice.
