Senior Business Systems Analyst - GDPR

The Senior BSA is required to support the Privacy management governance and framework within the BMC group to support the requirements gathering process and lead testing efforts across all business units.  Under the leadership of both the IT department and the BMC’s Global Privacy Officer (“GPO”), the Data Privacy Program coordinates different departments and functions within BMC to implement the regulatory framework and controls needed within their function to be compliant with the GDPR.  This position will require maintaining close relationships and interactions with BMC’s Information Security and IT departments which are key to data privacy compliance and GDPR compliance.  

• Ensuring that GDPR associated IT projects are properly scoped and requirements documented in each required function and department (HR, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Support, R&D, etc.), including cost assessment for new / change of tools and processes.
• Ensuring a coordinated and consistent approach to requirements gathering and testing with regards to privacy compliance across business units. Delivery focused as well as capable to write key documentation such as requirements documentation, user stories, and test scripts.  
• Taking the lead in identifying and documenting business processes improvements to the department leaders, coordinating all departments and functions in their effort to reach compliance with the GDPR.
• Assisting the GPO in setting up internal processes to test compliance and implement remedial actions if and where needed.
